Data, Analysis, and Software in Heliophysics
Calling all software developers and scientists who are interested in algorithms, software and data systems related to heliophysics (solar physics, space physics, geospace and related sciences)! Come see what your colleagues are working on!
The 2026 DASH / IHDEA Meeting will take place 5-9 October 2026, hosted by the Dublin Institute for Advanced Studies (DIAS) in Dublin, Ireland, with virtual participation supported.
The DASH (Data Analysis and Software in Heliophysics) and IHDEA (International Heliophysics Data Environment Alliance) meetings bring together scientists and software developers working on data analysis, algorithms, community software, data systems, and standards across heliophysics - from the Sun to geospace and beyond. We invite the full solar and heliophysics data, software, and science community to join us.
We are looking for individuals or groups to propose session topics for consideration. Proposals from early career research software engineers are encouraged. Session proposers become the session chairs, and help coordinate the meeting agenda with the organizing committee. As always, we are seeking an interactive meeting, with plenty of time for discussion and networking. See here for session submission details. The due date for session proposals is April 30.
Looking forward to seeing you!!
DASH Science Organizing Committee
DASH serves as a forum for scientists and software developers to present and discuss algorithms, software, and data systems used in the acquisition, reduction, analysis, and dissemination of data for Heliophysics, including space and ground-based measurements as well as models. The meeting connects practitioners across institutions, and international participation is key to success.
